About Us

The Kennedyville Inn, located in the quaint 18^th century town of the same name was established in the 1990’s.  Originally owned & operated by Chef Kevin McKinney & Barbara Silcox, the restaurant is now in the hands of talented chef Glenn May & Jason Hopwood.  Traditional smoked pork barbecue has been a mainstay & a passion of both past & current owners & continues to be a favorite with locals.  Our creative dinner menu maintains a seasonal approach to food, with the use of local produce & ingredients when available.  Along with an eclectic wine list that combines value & quality & friendly, attentive service, we offer our guests an intimate & relaxing dining experience in a ‘neighborhood’ restaurant.

Our hours are Wed. & Thurs. 5:00pm-8:30pm; Fri. & Sat. 5:00pm-9:00pm; Sunday 4:00pm-7:30pm.  Closed Mon. & Tues.

Directions

From the Chesapeake Bay Bridge - Travel East across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge on Rt. 50/301. Approximately 9 miles after the bridge follow Rt. 301 North toward Wilmington. After 6 miles take the exit for Rt. 213 North Centreville/Chestertown. Continue for 19 miles on Rt. 213 North This will bring you across the Chester River Bridge into Kent County and Chestertown. Continue on Rt. 213 through Chestertown. About 9 miles north of Chestertown you'll find the Kennedyville Inn on your left.

From the North - When traveling on I-95 South take the exit for Middletown/Rt. 896 South. Follow Rt. 896 South until it merges with Rt. 301 South (Rt. 301 South becomes a four lane divided highway when you cross from Delaware into Maryland). Take the exit for Chestertown/Rt. 290 South. Follow Rt. 290 South to Rt. 213 South. Continue on Rt. 213 South for several miles and you'll find the Kennedyville Inn on your right.
